Curriculum programs are formal partnerships that offer access to a U.S. school’s curriculum and programs in an international setting. This collaborative relationship not only allows the school abroad to expand their programmatic offerings but also as an opportunity for U.S. schools to expand their program’s reach beyond their home campus.

Types of Programs:

  • Single Course

  • Single Academic Department / International Track

  • Dual-Diploma

ACCREDITATION SERVICES

We can provide accreditation of our partner schools abroad, which offers concrete evidence to families and educational associations of voluntary accountability, documented school credibility, democratic practices, and assurance of national and international standards of education.

  • Accreditation enlists in its performance strategies:

  • National and International Standards with Quality Indicators

  • Institutional Self Studies

  • Evaluation and Opinion Surveys of Students, Parents, Teachers, Administrators, Staff, Board, and Community.

  • Site Visits for Review Evaluation, and Monitoring.

  • Transparency of its Publications, Standards, Policies, and Procedures.

  • Annual Reports, Monitoring, and Re-evaluation Cycles

If a school meets the initial standards of accreditation, the school is immediately moved to the status of Candidate for Accreditation. This provides the school community with immediate recognition of the high quality and integrity of the school. Two site visits will follow before full international accreditation is granted.

TEACHER TRAINING & Development Programs

The purpose of the Pedagogy/Teaching course is to provide international partnership schools with an introductory examination of key practices teachers must know to be effective in their unique learning environments. In addition, this course is to bring about a greater awareness of evidence-based practices of effective teaching and learning, as well as to get the participants thinking about applying each of these practices within their own settings.

There are six interconnected progams:

1. Effective Teaching and Learning: General overview for the course, defining characteristics of effective teaching with a focus on dispositions of effective teachers.

2. Developing Positive Relationships Between Teacher and Student: Examples of best practices in engaging with and helping students succeed.

3. Lesson Design: Design provides a brief yet thorough introduction to backwards design (specifically Understanding by Design), with supplemental templates to assist new teachers with this process.

4. Assessments:  provides an overview of current assessment strategies that will assist both teachers and students understand where they are in the learning process, provide ways in which teachers can interact with assessment data to better restructure their learning environments to address students’ learning needs, and provide strategies for creating assessments that allow students to “show what they know.”

5. Personalized Learning: introduces differentiated instruction, and applies this educational strategy to the unique learning needs of the 21 st  century learner.

6. Models of Teaching: discusses the role of a teacher as educational designer, and provides an in-depth look at two commonly used instructional strategies: direct instruction and cooperative learning.
